PreScribed (a life written for me)
PreScribed (a life written for me) explores the side effects of being a GP navigating an NHS in meltdown.
Viv was commissioned by The Elizabeth Blackwell Institute at University of Bristol to work with researchers Ruth Riley and Johanna Spiers and make a show for the Feel It Festival 2016. Viv’s own lived experience of mental ill health, combined with verbatim extracts from anonymised research transcripts, creates a powerful account of a GP on the brink of a crisis. "Everyday I engage in a rapid series of one way interactions in which.... I Don't Matter" PreScribed was at Edinburgh Fringe 2017 (Zoo venues) and then touring to arts and health conferences and GP trainings nationally. |
