Grounded in Viv Gordon’s personal journey as a CSA survivor, Restless is a body of work that radically reclaims space, voice and agency.

The project using the unstoppable force of the sea as a metaphor to take back what was lost through abuse.

Recorded at Bristol’s J&J Studio with producer Jim Barr (Portishead, Get The Blessing), Restless fuses Viv’s lyrics with a soundscape crafted alongside Thomas Johnson and Quinta, drummer Sean Randle and bassist Maddy Kiley.

The result is a bold collision of punk grit, experimental textures, soaring violin, indie grooves, spoken word and sea shanty.
